Just to keep you up to date with the happenings in Sloane Mallorca
As of the first of May, it officially became summer here in Mallorca with all pilots here changing into the “Summer Uniform”, shorts, shirts and sunglasses, to prevent us over heating in the cockpit (photo evidence left)! With the weather as good as always it means we’ll stay like that until well into October.
Jonny becomes a CAA Flight Examiner (Helicopters)
In early May Fred Cross visited us in Mallorca. Jonny successfully passed his exam for his Flight Examiner Rating. This means that Sloane
Helicopters now have 2 CAA Flight Examiners in Mallorca giving you better
flexibility to book you PPL (H) Skills Tests, Type Rating Skills Tests and
Annual LPC’s. You can now just call us (+34 971 79 41 32) or email
(info@sloanemallorca.com) and book your test a few days in advance.
Sloane Mallorca goes to the races
April 27th saw the Formula 1 roll into Spain with the Barcelona Grand Prix. Sloane Mallorca was there with some students to see a great days racing, and a little sunburn as well, before flying back off to Son
Bonet. The picture is of Jonny, Paul, Jonathan and Luis on turn 4, where
Alonso crashed out, enjoying the spectacle. (Spot the highly trained Pilot
holding his souvenir T-Shirt upside down!!!)
We are already taking some helicopters to visit the European Formula 1, held in Valencia this year, from the 22nd until 24th August. If you want to fly over there with us please let us know. Check out the Official Website here at http://www.valenciastreetcircuit.com/.
The other racing series Sloane Mallorca is visiting this year is World
Rally Championship, Rally de España, held in Salou, near Tarragona. It is
from the 2nd of October until the 5th of October. It is already shaping up
