Dear Daniel,

Roadtrip (by helicopter) As Sloane Mallorca customers, we have an exciting new trip for the end of January, which may interest you.

Sloane Mallorca has the rare privilege of being invited to Eurocopter Headquarters and Production Facilities in Marseille, in Southern France. Sloane Mallorca also thought we would take the opportunity to visit one or two French chateaus along the way and make a trip out of it.

We’ll leave Son Bonet and fly up through Spain and France spending the first night outside Marseille, landing at a Chateau.

For the Eurocopter Tour we will fly into their Headquarters at Marseille airport and spend a day seeing the latest helicopters and how the Eurocopter Helicopters are manufactured. Then in the evening, we’ll fly off into the sunset to stay in a Chateau on the way back to Son Bonet.

On the last day we fly back along the French coast into Spain and down to Son Bonet.

The flying will involve planning, plotting and enroute navigation. There are also the airport procedures and all the radio work, and on top of this there will also be a couple of confined area landings! The total round trip will be about 8 hours flying.

Dates for the diary

Thursday 29th January
Leave Son Bonet for Marseille
Land and overnight in a Chateau near Marseille

Friday 30th January
Fly into Eurocopter HQ at Marseille Airport
Eurocopter Visit
Fly out, towards Perpignan
Land and overnight in a Chateau near Perpignan

Saturday 31st January
Leave Chateau for Son Bonet

You have a choice to do 4 hours logged flying or 2 hours logged flying
